Shree Krishna Educational Trust of Bachelor of Hotel & Tourism Science
Started in the year 1999 in the temple town of Udupi, Shree Krishna Educational Trust was launched with the aim of providing opportunities to students seeking professional courses that would ensure them rewarding careers. Since then a trend of quality education has been established by the Trust in the form of three professional colleges, namely Udupi College of Hotel & Tourism Science, affiliated to Mangalore University, Udupi College of Nursing, affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and Udupi College of Education, affiliated to Mangalore University.
Udupi College of Hotel & Tourism Science, established in the year 2002, offers a three year B.Sc. Degree in Hospitality Science. The institute’s mission is to be a leading provider of hotel and tourism management education. This course aims to provide exposure to the students to the theory and practice of hotel management. The students are given hand-on experience of all spheres of hotel industry like front office, accommodation, food and beverages, House Keeping, Nutrition and food science, hygiene and sanitation.
Located in the premises of Karavali Hotel in Udupi on NH 17, the college has an attractively structured building that houses all the requisite facilities for the smooth conduct of the course. Classroom Sessions are supported with on-the-job training at all leading star hotels all over India along with practical classes in the laboratories of the College. |
